Business Model (Fee Structure) Consultation 2019

Consultation has concluded

TSSA is in the process of revising how it does business and is seeking your input and feedback on our future fee structure.

We want your feedback on three options for our future fee structure.

One of the main reasons for a new fee structure is to support TSSA’s transition to an outcome-based regulator. A key objective of becoming an outcome-based regulator is to focus on high-risk activities and allocate resources to areas that pose the greatest threat to public safety.

In order to do this, a new fee structure is required that allows TSSA the flexibility to allocate existing resources to areas of high-risk. The new fee structure should achieve the same overall revenue as the existing fee structure in order to maintain the existing resources required to fulfill TSSA’s safety mandate.

We really appreciate your time and attention in providing your input.
